All 2013 dates still to be confirmed.
Many rowers are only taught how to sweep at school or university. We offer an afternoon Introduction to Sculling (A) course that will help an already experienced rower make the transition to sculling. The aim of this course is to make the rower competent in a single seat 'recreational' style boat. Course will include a capsize drill (falling out of a boat and climing back in).
We also offer another afternoon course for Advanced Sculling Skills (B) that is aimed at rowers who already know how to scull (self-taught or limited instruction) but wish to improve their technique. The course aims to correct and improve technique as well as pass on a few of the tips and tricks that make sculling an 'art'. Course will include a capsize drill (falling out of a boat and climing back in).
